I’m thinking that I should get some better aquarium lighting to make sure that my corals are going to be in good shape for the long haul. I am not sure if these dull fluorescent lights are going to be a good choice for the long run, since they just don’t put out the type of light that is good for the growth and vitality of my new coral frags. I should probably look at getting a metal halide type of lighting system, I’ve heard that these are a pretty standard thing to get for aquarium owners that want to produce and further the growth of coral. It’s just a very high powered, intense light and it provides a lot of the stuff that corals need to propagate and grow. I will probably just sell my old lights after I upgrade my aquarium lighting, because I know the new ones are going to cost me a little bit of cash.
