One of the really nice things about the company we work at is that they have supplied us all with smartphones and they really do come in handy. These basically incorporate the capabilities of what you might recall as a PDA, and that simply means acting like a computer. So much of the activities done for the business on computers are actually done on our BlackBerry devices. Essentially the company spared no expense for us on these, basically because they expect us to do a good job in the field for them. The most important BlackBerry parts are always inspected by the company technicians once a month. This is part of the arrangement we have in our contracts.
The numbers for last quarter were very impressive because we were able to respond very quickly to calls in the field. Before the company got the BlackBerry devices, our response times were not as good. In reality these devices have probably already paid for themselves, and the ongoing maintenance, just by helping us improve our numbers each month.
